ARCHOS Brings New Android and Windows Products to IFA 2014

ARCHOS has shown off a gaggle of Android and Windows Smartphones and tablets ahead of next week’s IFA show in Berlin. On the Android side, the company has launched the 50b Platinum. It features a 5″ IPS screen, dual SIM support, and 8mp front and 2mp rear cameras. It will ship in September for $149. A 4.5″ version called the 45c Platinum for $129. On the tablet side, the 101 Oxygen 10.1″ tablet made its debut. It comes with a 1080 full HD screen and a quad core ARM CPU. It’ll ship for $249.

On the Windows Phone side, the company is launching the 4″ 40 Cesium. This phone runs the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1 It comes with a Snapdragon 200 CPU and will cost only $99 when it debuts in September. The 80 Cesium is a 8″ tablet with a 1280 x 800 IPS screen. It runs full Windows with an Intel quad core processor. For those wanting in on the Windows market, it’ll ship in October for $149.

They also announced a trio of connected devices. The Weather Station will measure temperature and atmospheric conditions and relay them to an app on your iOS or Android device. It’ll cost $149 in September. The Music Light is a combination lamp and Bluetooth speaker. It’ll cost $49 and is currently shipping. Lastly, is the Music Beany. It’s a beanie cap that integrates Bluetooth wireless headphones. It’ll set you back $39.

Powered by a blazing fast Quad Core processor, the smartphone features an ultra-bright 5-inch IPS screen, dual SIM support, full HD video encoding capability, and ultra-precise 8 MP with autofocus back and 2 MP front cameras with integrated LED flash.

Available in September, the ARCHOS 50b Platinum comes with Android KitKat operating system, three back colored cases, a protective cover, and an 8 GB micro SD card to store all your multimedia files. ARCHOS also announces the availability of the ARCHOS 45c Platinum in September, a smaller version of the 50b Platinum for only $129.

Reshaping the Android tablet experience

ARCHOS 101 Oxygen reshapes the Android tablet user experience by combining power, features and design. ARCHOS Music Beany – a plush beany that combines the benefits of a headphone with the style and comfort of a traditional beany. Similar to the Music Light, it connects via Bluetooth, is compatible with all devices and will be available for $39.
